1. Are St. George Island Beaches Private?
One of the peculiarities of the island is that the beach areas are not private, a large number of people are dedicated annually to visiting the island to swim there and enjoy not only the beaches but also the many attractions in the surrounding area, as it is rich in culture and buildings that carry with them the history of the place and its development over time.
One of the recommendations we give you is to have an inflatable float at hand. Get total enjoyment and dedicate yourself to getting a little tan in the soft sun of the bay.

2. Is St. George Island Water Clear?

We will be totally honest in telling you that there are no completely sandy beaches on this island. Most of them have a pebble lining since they are a coastal area, but it is still enjoyable to stay here since they do not prevent you from walking and whenever you can choose to wear special water shoes for the beach that will not prevent you from enjoying the experience in case you have very delicate feet or are afraid of hurting yourself.
There are not many areas of the beach that are sandy, but they do exist, and enjoying them is quite pleasant.
We insist that you should not be discouraged by the previous point, this beach is really beautiful and enjoyable, as well as its surroundings.
