Bon Appetit, a family-owned restaurant in northern Pinellas County has been a popular choice for proms and other events. 

One example: The piano plays CDs, but one of the servers still takes the time to play mock entertainment after the dinner rush. 

European decor prevails, with multi-level dining rooms and halogen lamps above the tables. Many tables have a view over St. Joseph’s Sound. 

Dover sole is then pan-sauteed in lemon butter and served tableside. The sweetbreads are sauteed with wild mushrooms and then served with a pecan-herb crust. 

Although the apple strudel and chocolate mousse are outstanding, there is not much to the dessert menu. Outdoor seating is available with a separate and casual menu.

It was perfect for a large group. We sat at tables in the small room. We started off with the crab cakes as an appetizer, it had a deliciously crunchy exterior with fresh crab inside. This crab cake is one of our favorites.

The staff were friendly, the food was excellent and the service was impeccable. They were kind enough to keep our cake in the fridge until we finished dinner.

3. Casa Tina “Fresh, Healthy, Authentic Mexican”

This Mexican restaurant offers heart-healthy, authentic Mexican cuisine.

Casa Tina has worked for many years to become a downtown staple in Dunedin.

Casa Tina is more than a restaurant. It serves authentic Mexican food and prides itself on being a socially responsible family.

Casa Tina offers authentic Mexican food, fresh and healthy. They also have Pan y Vino next door, a tapas and wine bar.

Although they state that there are many vegan options, most of their dishes can be made gluten-free. However, this information is not listed on the menu.

You can choose from burritos and tamales as well as tacos, burritos, burritos and fajitas. Also, you have the option to order soups or salads.

It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. Although they won’t be the fastest, they will be the best.

Casa Tina invites everyone to come by if they want to make you forget all your worries and have a margarita in your hand.

Organic whenever possible and a family-run business with a warm atmosphere.

6. Olde Bay Cafe

The casual waterfront cafe and fish market offers casual dining, with seating both inside and outside. You can choose from quiches, wraps, or Cuban sandwiches as well as salads, fish spreads, fish sandwiches, fish tacos, and other delicious options. You can get 3-4 fresh catches every day. You can choose whether you prefer it as a Fish Taco, Fish Sandwich, or Platter.

The Dunedin Marina Dock has an outdoor cafe that serves fresh fish every day, including grouper tacos and crab cakes. They also offer Cuban and pulled-pork sandwiches. 

Dogs are also welcome at the covered outdoor seating.

Amazing seafood and very accommodating to celiacs. There are many options for pan-seared and grilled fish. All of them were prepared in separate pans. 

The staff was great and took extra care to make sure everything was correct. The shrimp was delicious, and scallop tacos were also available on corn tortillas.

7. Clear Sky Draught Haus

Clear Sky Draught Haus is food-focused. Also located along the Pinellas trail, they offer a variety of pub grub options, including artisan flatbread sandwiches and gourmet pizzas. High-end craft beer is available to complement the menu.

The best beef and brisket grinder. 

Fresh pork tacos are my favorite thing about Tuesdays lately. It’s fresh smoked pulled meat with Mexican cheddar on a corn tortilla.

8. Lucky Lobster Co.

This restaurant serves Maine lobsters, North Atlantic seafood, and steaks with New England charm.

The restaurant’s overall design is beautiful. It is very well decorated from the inside to the exterior and it has a great atmosphere. The majority of the restaurant is outdoors, which was fortunate as it rained on our visit. The electric screens were installed right before the rain started.

They have plastic windows that let in lots of light, even though they are closed.

Outdoor and indoor seating available for lunch/dinner. The Lobster and Shrimp Pizza is great when paired with a house-made margarita.

The lobster pot pie was delicious, with large chunks of lobster. It’s worth the effort to make lobster bisque or clam chowder.

9. The Honu Restaurant and Tiki Bar

In Hawaiian, Honu is a turtle. This usually refers to the endangered Green Sea Turtle of Hawaii. This is the best place to visit if you’ve never been to Hawaii. You will return to Hawaii once you have found The Honu.

Enjoy a variety of Polynesian-style dishes and a Tiki Bar as you step into a Polynesian paradise! They pride themselves on the high quality of their food using fresh ingredients and traditional flavors.

Customers are welcome to ask at The Honu if they would prefer vegetarian or vegan options. The hosts will gladly oblige!

Excellent Mai Tai and delicious food. I enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls and fish tacos. There is a small outdoor eating area at the front, but there is plenty of outdoor seating and a covered bar at the back.

This cafe is located just half a block from Clearwater Beach. It’s known for its gourmet food at a reasonable price. You can sample classic American, French, Italian, and Mexican cuisines.

The breakfast experience is sophisticated. There are many unique breakfast options, including five types of french toast, six kinds of eggs “bennies”, and fourteen kinds of Omelets. You can also enjoy a cocktail at the outdoor Bloody Mary Bar, which offers everything you need from hand-stuffed green olives to a variety of kebabs.

The lunch and dinner menus include a variety of tapas appetizers as well as gourmet pizzas, paninis, burgers, and salads. You can enjoy fresh seafood, including the house special “en papillote”.

The friendly cafe offers indoor and outdoor seating, where your four-legged friends can also be welcome.

Excellent service, professional and friendly. A few minor substitutions were made by the waiter with no difficulty. He quickly checked with the chef about any allergens. The friendly, attentive service was a great compliment.

The dining area is elegant and simple. It is a romantic and intimate setting that makes it a great place to take a date. You can also enjoy the outdoor seating area on cool winter and fall nights.

Breakfast Nachos and Red Velvet Pancakes are some of the highlights on the brunch menu. Highlights of the lunch and dinner menus include a delicious Quinoa Salad and Black and Blue Nachos as well as Chicken Montrachet and Main Street Lobster Roll, Bayou Shrimp, and Miso & Ginger Grilled salmon tacos.

Tapas is the style of dinner. Each dish is brought out as it is prepared.
